Full Denial — No-Fault/PIP (New York)

New York no-fault denials must be issued on the NF-10 Denial of Claim form within 30 calendar days of the insurer's receipt of completed verification (11 NYCRR 65-3.8).

Required Elements

1. NF-10 Form: The denial must use the prescribed NF-10 form
2. Specific basis: State the specific reason for the denial with reference to the policy provision or regulation
3. Verification: Confirm that all requested verification was received or that the 30-day window has elapsed
4. Arbitration rights: Include notice of the applicant's right to submit the dispute to arbitration
